Brandon appeared at one of his foster’s feeding areas underweight and wearing a shredded collar. Despite his rough condition, he was immediately friendly and happily accepted pets. He stayed around day after day, and after two weeks with no sign of an owner, his foster suspected he had been lost or possibly chased off by other male cats. Before the weather turned cold, he was taken in, checked for a microchip, and posted on several lost pet pages, but unfortunately no owner was found.
Brandon had been bullied by other cats at the feeding area, which has made him a bit cautious. He is very shy but incredibly sweet, and once he feels safe, his gentle personality shines through. With plenty of kind words and patience, we hope he learns that he truly deserves all the love in the world!
He loves being brushed and gets along with other cats as long as they are not mean to him. Brandon would do best in a calm home with older children who understand his quiet nature, and he may be able to adjust to a dog with a slow and proper introduction.
